Seminar on Digital Payments- Challenges & Opportunities

AFLC organized a Seminar on Digital Payments- Challenges & Opportunities in Geeta Govind Sadan, Bhubaneswar on 29 Feb 2020. At the outset Mr S Choudhury, Member Advisory Board, AFLC welcomed the guests and participants. Mr D Mishra, Founder and Managing Partner briefly highlighted objective of the Seminar.

The Seminar was inaugurated by Mr M K Mall, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Bhubaneswar. Mr P Vasudevan, Chief General Manager, DPSS, RBI, Mr P Krishnamurthy , former CGM, RBI, Mr Arif Khan, Chief Digital Officer, NPCI and Mr Vittal Raj, eminent Chartered Accountants, Chennai addressed and interacted with the audience.

Mr P Krishnamurthy explained the credit delivery channels in the evolving digital landscape. Mr Vasudeavan gave an overview of the Payment Eco- System, Regulatory perceptive and way forward.Mr Arif Khan made a presentation on NPCI and Vittal Raj discussed on the Cyber Risks in digital banking and its mitigation.

The speakers made lively presentations, clarified many tricky questions. Academicians, bankers, senior citizens, student delegates and public who participated highly appreciated. Students of Utkal University , and OUAT had active participation.Eminent Professors Dr D V Ramana , XIMB and Dr Samarendra Mahapatra, OUAT were present. Dr Manoranjan Bhuyan, former GM, Bank of Baroda proposed Vote of  Thanks.
